Tramore is a seaside town in County Waterford, and the racecourse hosts both jumps and Flat racing. Tramore is famous for its festival which takes place in August every year, which has been going for over 200 years. The course stages 11 days of racing over the year, with its four-day summer meeting in August including three evening fixtures, and the two-day New Year meeting incorporating the last day of the old year and the first day of the New Year. There are also two-day fixtures in April and May, and a single day of racing in October.
