Upwardly-mobile hurdler who quickly resumed winning ways in 3m Newbury handicap last month. Likely more to come and major player for top yard which won this in 2024 and saddled the runner-up 12 months ago.

Progressing well, landing a second 2½m success of the campaign (both soft) when seeing off 7 rivals in December. Improved again when narrowly denied in competitive 15-runner event at Ascot (19f, good to soft) since and should go well if his stamina holds up in trip.

Made winning return at Carlisle in November and improved again when narrowly denied in valuable Betfair Stayers' at Haydock (3m) later that month. Bounced back quickly from a lesser run at Windsor when third (Santos Blue second) at Sandown (3m, soft) in January. Tongue tied first time. Respected.

Improved again to win big-field handicaps around 2½m at Cheltenham and Newbury in autumn. Not seen to best effect in Lanzarote at Kempton next time and yet to be asked for effort when unseating 3 out in Haydock Grade 2 last month on first attempt at 3m. Could still have a bigger performance in him.

Won this last year and back to form with a bang to land another nice pot at Musselburgh (3m, good to soft) 6 weeks ago by 2¾ lengths from Idem. Has tended to be prove vulnerable once his mark has got into the 140s so it might be best to look elsewhere for win purposes.

Built on reappearance promise at the second attempt when ½-length second of 15 in handicap hurdle at Windsor (3m, soft) in January but not in the same form when sixth of 13 at Haydock since, merely making late headway after getting detached.

Won the opening 2½m handicap on this card last year. Added a 25f Aintree novice handicap chase on his reappearance in November. Hasn't built on that as might have been expected in 2 subsequent outings over fences but no surprise were he to stage a revival back over timber after wind surgery.

Successful on second of 2 starts in bumpers and is improving over hurdles for top yard, getting off the mark in 19f Warwick maiden (soft) last month. First-time tongue tie worn on that occasion is retained. Steps up to 3m for handicap debut. Another interesting contender for Dan Skelton.

Likeable type who bagged 3m handicap hurdle at Newbury last February on his final run for Dan Skelton. Best effort for new yard when second (Hartington third) over 3m at Sandown (soft) last month. This former course scorer could play a prominent role again.

Relatively unexposed stayer who has won small-field handicap hurdles at Ayr and Carlisle this winter but disappointed when pitched into a more competitive environment at Windsor last time.

Stepped up on last season's novice form when making a successful handicap debut/reappearance at Windsor (3m, good to soft) in November. Creditable third of 6 in handicap at Carlisle (25f, soft) 3 weeks later and the type to bounce back from a lesser run at Sandown since.

Placed in staying handicap hurdles in Ireland this year but suspicion this 12-y-o may prove vulnerable to some of the younger legs in this line-up.

Gamely landed 3m Newbury handicap on reappearance in November and returned to winning ways in 3m Chepstow handicap last month under Jack Stenhouse. Should remain competitive off 5 lb higher.

Useful bumper scorer who won 3 times in his first season over hurdles but has failed to make an impact in 3 handicaps this winter. A bounce back is needed now stepping up in trip.

Veteran but as good as ever when returning to action to win twice over fences towards the end of 2025, latterly the Becher at Aintree. The Grand National is presumably the main aim but he is also a pretty smart hurdler (C&D winner).

Back to winning ways at Chepstow in (3m) in December and showed himself none the worse for a fall in the Lanzarote at Kempton when fourth of 11 back at Chepstow (3m, soft) 6 weeks ago.

Gradually progressive over hurdles last season, winning twice at around 3m. Not in the same form switched to fences on return last month and his hopes hinge on a return to timber sparking a revival. Also has a first-time tongue tie added to his cheekpieces.
