Clear signs of ability in a trio of novice hurdles and while he may well be better off now venturing down the handicap route, others make more appeal on this occasion.

Failed to improve for the switch to handicap company here last month and he's readily passed over.

Yet to get his head in front (0-11 in this sphere) but last month's reappearance spin at Doncaster should've blown away the cobwebs and will have a chance if able to match the pick of last season's form.

Absent since October 2023 and this 12-race maiden (0-8 over hurdles) is opposable starting out for new connections here.

Won a Uttoxeter bumper for Tom Symonds last spring but it's all been rather low-key over hurdles so far, finishing well held on handicap debut at Wetherby last time.

Has struggled (in this sphere and on the Flat) since landing a Kelso handicap hurdle last May and, though now 6 lb below that winning mark, he is probably worth taking on.

Lightly-raced maiden who failed to pull up any trees for Ian Donoghue in Ireland but she is one to note in the betting on debut for new connections all the same.
