Useful hurdler who matched the form of his solid reappearance third at Chepstow in October when chasing home a progressive, unexposed type over C&D 3 weeks ago. Perhaps not on quite as competitive a mark as some of these but should give a good account nonetheless.

Opened hurdles account at third attempt for current yard last season and regained the winning thread when accounting for 8 rivals in a 9-runner Newcastle handicap (17f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. 3 lb nudge fair enough and stepping back up in trip shouldn't be an issue.

Fairly useful form in France for David Cotti and, having changed hands for €150,000, he confirmed the promise of his British debut when landing a Fontwell maiden (17.7f, good to soft) last March. Absent since but, as a low-mileage handicap debutant from a respected yard, he needs a second look.

€135,000 purchase who got back on the up following a wind op by winning handicaps at Plumpton and Sandown on first 2 starts of this season. Form has dipped since, though, and there's a question mark surroung the suitability of this trip (pulled up sole previous try at around 2½m).

Useful winning stayer on the Flat in France and, following victories in handicaps in this sphere at Wincanton and Musselburgh, he was a good fourth in the Lanzarote over C&D in January. Behind Royal Infantry when again fourth here next time and will need to raise his game in order to take this.

Caught the eye of stewards when finishing with running left at Thurles over 2m on penultimate start. Subsequent handicap debut third upped to 21f at Punchestown was promising and this Irish raider is an interesting candidate.

Won 3 times during the summer and returned to form when fourth in Grade 2 company at Cheltenham in December. Struggled at Doncaster last time, however, and looks on a stiff mark back in a handicap.

Highly promising novice during 2021/22 campaign, featuring a Grade 2 success at Cheltenham and a good third in the Mersey Novices' Hurdle at Aintree. However, he's been absent since finishing third of 10 on handicap debut at Newbury in December 2023, so his wellbeing has to be taken on trust.

Signed off last term with back-to-back victories in handicap hurdles at Bangor and Ayr. Winner twice over fences this season, too, but he was pulled up on latest start in that sphere last month and again failed to fire back hurdling at Newbury a fortnight ago.

Irish import who bagged a 3m Chepstow handicap in October but he has struggled in 3 runs since the turn of the year. Has undergone another wind op since latest start and needs to bounce back in a major way.
