C&D winner who signed off 2025 with success at Southwell (7f) in December. Exploits mixed in 3 outings at that venue since the turn of the year though, and difficult draw to contend with on this occasion.

Three-time winner on turf/all-weather upon joining Charlie Clover and ended time with that stable at the top of his game, runner up at Southwell (6f) in February. Seemed tapped for toe at a crucial stage when fifth for new yard here (6f) latest and now tries 7f for the first time.

Had plenty in his favour when winning 7-runner handicap at Epsom (7f) in August and seen to nothing like same advantage again ridden positively when last of 17 in handicap at Ascot (7f) in October. This less demanding on return.

C&D scorer who resumed winning ways over 1m here in October and placed all 3 starts since, latterly when second over same C&D 3 weeks ago. Fully expected to make his presence felt again under Oisin Murphy.

Had an excellent spell on all-weather last year, winning 6 times over 7f from January to April. Steadily regained full fitness since returning to action, finishing good second at Southwell (7f) 18 days ago. Merits consideration having slipped below last winning mark.

Made a winning debut at Lingfield in December 2024 and progressed from that effort when second to a big improver in 7f novice back there 14 months ago. However, offered little following another spell on the sidelines 55 days ago. Blinkers/hood reached for.

Runner-up on 4 consecutive occasions in handicaps at this trip prior to finishing seventh at Kempton (1m) 3 weeks ago. However, in the firing line for a long way then to suggest he remains in form and return to 7f can see him to better effect.

Much improved when off the mark at third attempt in a Windsor novice (6f) in September but not in same form on handicap debut over 1m here a month later. May be worth a try at this trip given how she shaped then.

Just a maiden win to his name but mark has steadily eased and he came forward from his reappearance when edged out close home over C&D 9 days ago. Definite claims from same mark.

Veteran who tasted success twice over 6/7f this time last year and returned to form from out of the blue when runner up at Lingfield in January. However, not the easiest to predict and he was below that level returned to 6f there latest.
