Arrives on the up, following up his Newcastle success with victory in a 5-runner handicap at Musselburgh last time. This is much more competitive, though he's far from exposed as a stayer.

Improved when off the mark in a weak Hereford handicap and while a creditable third on first try over this sort of trip at Wincanton (good to soft) subsequently, she probably needs an even greater stamina test.

Point winner whose form over hurdles and fences has proved consistent rather than progressive, unseating after the third in Carlisle chase latest. Does at least tackle staying trips for first time as a hurdler.

Standout effort when runner-up in Chepstow novice in December and was already niggled along when falling at the fifth on Newbury handicap bow (18/1) last time. Perhaps not an obvious candidate to add to stable's recent haul of winners, though worth a go in first-time cheekpieces.

Lightly-raced 5-y-o made a winning debut over fences for Francois Nicolle and having been picked up for €21,000 by new connections, offered something to work with when fifth in 2½m Uttoxeter novice. Longer trip should suit but her opening mark doesn't look a generous one.

Kapgarde gelding. Dam lightly raced over fences in France, from family of top-class chaser up to 3m Envoi Allen and Champion Hurdle winner Espoir d'Allen. Dual point winner showed more second time up over 2½m at Ffos Las and while bred to appreciate this trip, his opening mark looks a harsh one.

Form has taken a turn following a very consistent start under Rules, shaping with little encouragement on Newcastle chase debut in January. Could bounce back on handicap hurdle bow, for all she doesn't look obviously well treated.
