has a lot of ability and completed the hat-trick despite still by no means the finished article, something which could prove an issue in better company, although equally a stronger pace is bound to suit his style and he's still got more to come under the right circumstances; held up, refused to settle, rapid headway and upsides over 3f out, led over 1f out, edged right, kept going well.

An interesting contest with a steady early pace complicating matters but the pair who looked to have the most potential came to the fore and both have reasons to expect them to be capable of even better than this bare form.

GRONKOWSKI (USA) has a lot of ability and completed the hat-trick despite still by no means the finished article, something which could prove an issue in better company, although equally a stronger pace is bound to suit his style and he's still got more to come under the right circumstances; held up, refused to settle, rapid headway and upsides over 3f out, led over 1f out, edged right, kept going well.

COURT HOUSE (IRE) is going the right way and ran well upped in grade after 7 weeks off, again hampering himself at the start but getting into contention and threatening to throw down a meaningful challenge to one similarly on the up when short for room; slowly into stride, in rear, headway over 1f out, switched inside, keeping on when no room last ½f, switched, kept on; will go on improving.

FORTUNE'S PEARL (IRE) making all-weather debut, ran creditably after 5 months off, having no problem with the 1f longer trip up against a couple of improvers; mid-field, travelled smoothly, ridden 2f out, kept on; should remain competitive.

VENTURA KNIGHT (IRE) one of the most exposed, ran respectably after 4 months off; led until over 1f out, no extra final 1f.

THREE WEEKS (USA) upped in grade, found progress stalled kept to 1m in a muddling contest after 8 weeks off; prominent, outpaced 2f out, plugged on, needs the emphasis more on stamina.
