claimer ridden, progressed again in registering a fourth win of the season, helped by being found what proved to be a weakish race for the grade but no knocking the way he went about it; prominent, jumped well, effort 2 out, led last, forged clear; he should continue to give a good account, though it's possible the handicapper will overreact to this win.

returned to form, back up in trip and in a weaker handicap than last time, though didn't finish the race off all that strongly after looking like he might win, and it's worth pointing out his yard is quiet at present; dropped out, travelled well, mistake fourth, went prominent eighth, rushed up to lead 3 out, headed last, effort flattened out; the chances are he remains a handicapper of interest, especially once stable form picks up.

back up in trip, failed to come on for recent run, though at least didn't have a hard race and is maybe working back gradually; held up, outpaced ninth, made no impression.

An authoritative winner, though he was the only one with anything left in the finish, a few of the rest beaten too far out for comfort, and it wasn't the competitive handicap it might've been; only the runner-up made notable headway from behind, possibly making his move too soon in doing so.

COURTOWN OSCAR (IRE) claimer ridden, progressed again in registering a fourth win of the season, helped by being found what proved to be a weakish race for the grade but no knocking the way he went about it; prominent, jumped well, effort 2 out, led last, forged clear; he should continue to give a good account, though it's possible the handicapper will overreact to this win.
