| Closely weighted with Northern Corner on earlier form but is amazingly consistent with 6 places and 1 win from 11 starts this season. Good 2nd to Solar Night here over further last time in June. | ||||||||

| Bang in form after 2 wins and 3 places in his last 5 races but has been put up 5lb for that and may not find life quite as easy today. Andre Nel yard are in great form and he seems sure to place. | ||||||||

| Blinkers on today and the three-year-old has run well here before when 2nd to Ovar in February over C&D so the track is not an issue. Hasn't found life as easy off marks in the 80's but off 78 today. | ||||||||

| Just the 5 career starts for one win in 3 this season but not been seen since November and has had his problems by the look of it. Bound to need the run and evidence needed he is up to handicaps. | ||||||||

| Interesting competitor. One win and 2 places from just the 3 starts and not beaten too far by Captain Bagg at Kenilworth last time, form gives him a good chance but Kruyer stable are out of sorts. | ||||||||

| Didn't seem to see out the 1200mtrs last time at Kenilworth and his best form is all over this 1000mtrs. Lack of course experience is a worry but he likes to race prominently and that works here. | ||||||||

| Won on his debut at Kenilworth and runner up Oceans Trip has won since so the form looks better than average. Rating of 78 seems plenty high enough but was a 55/1 shot that day and will improve. | ||||||||

| The son of Rebel King showed plenty of early speed to win here 1st time out holding on at the line, but that running style is perfect here and with Craig Bantam's claim he is well in today. | ||||||||

| Five pounds better off with Argo Solo for 2.25l on earlier form and has won since so is improving after only 4 races. Snaith yard on fire and not easily passed over today. | ||||||||

| Just the one place in his last 7 races and has been off since early April so seems sure to need it today anyway - gives him an excuse. | ||||||||

A really interesting race which the biggest improver seems likely to win and that could be BLAZING REBEL who impressed over C&D on his debut and can only get better with more experience. Mission Control ran really well in fourth over this trip last time in a decent-looking race and is the value to chase the selection home while each-way players could do a lot worse than Ovar. |
