| Speedily away 1st time up at Kenilworth over 1200mtrs and more of the same next time out over the same trip. Steadily weakened over 1400mtrs in 7th last time and no reason that should change today. | ||||||||

| Outpaced over 1000mtrs at the end of the race on her debut over 1000mtrs but that was more likely race fitness than any lack of stamina. Sure to improve considerably and a bit of a dark horse here. | ||||||||

| Over two months off after a lazy looking debut but never put in the race that day and hard to gauge how good she is or isn't. Improvement is guaranteed for that experience and will be needed. | ||||||||

| Holds Irish Grey on three different runs and should beat that rival, 6 chances to score so far without success but likes to set the pace which suits this track, drop back to 1400mtrs is intriguing. | ||||||||

| Ramsden stable in fine form but even they may struggle here with little form to write home about and he was a well beaten 15l fifth over further last time out though the drop in trip may help. | ||||||||

| Beautiful looking daughter of Argonaut who ran far better than expected when a length 3rd to Tipping Point at odds of 33/1 when looking as if the race was needed, behind Sandy Bay but will improve. | ||||||||

| Two uninspiring runs so far at Kenilworth when beaten 29l and 8l respectively, both over 1200mtrs, but will need to improve considerably to take a hand today which is only a remote possibility. | ||||||||

| The daughter of Trippi put in a promising 1st effort when less than 5l off the winner over 12000mtrs at Kenilworth but failed to go on from that when only 12th stepped up to 1200mtrs. Good draw today. | ||||||||

| Ran his best race yet when 21.5l 6th to Tipping Pont but held by Sandy Bay and Miss Hyde on that run as well as Irish Grey and Tripolina on earlier form so hard to fancy. | ||||||||

|
Interesting maiden considering and one that ought to be won by Justin Snaith's MISS HYDE assuming she improves as expected for her debut third which was a highly encouraging run. Although Sandy Bay holds the selection on recent form she may struggle to confirm that but can still take the runner-up prize today, with De Ragatas dropping back in trip which may well see him take third spot. |
