| Best form in the field with 5 2nds and 2 3rds in his last 8 starts and was beaten a whisker by Sherlock over 1400mtrs in April. Drops back in trip and if he makes the pace today he will go well. | ||||||||

| Just the 1 place in 11 races and hasn't been seen in anger since 3rd February. Long lay-off to overcome and form doesn't suggest she would win even if she was fit. | ||||||||

| Glen Puller's colt can make the running if needed and would be better served today by doing so but does have a bit to find with Summer Sky even at the revised weights. Drop back in trip could help. | ||||||||

| Returns today after a long lay-off and very likely to need the run to put him straight. His last few runs suggested he is going backwards so the rest may yet rejuvenate him, worth watching today. | ||||||||

| Placed 1st time out at Kenilworth over this trip but hasn't run as well again in 4 starts since and failed to see out the 1600mtrs last time. 1st run at this track is a concern as well. | ||||||||

| Ran his best race yet when 5.5l 4th to Show Stealer at Kenilworth last month but needs to find plenty more to get the better of some of these. Harold Crawford yard are really struggling at the moment. | ||||||||

| Shown precious little in 5 races to date and usually priced accordingly. Last run can be ignored as 1400mtrs didn't suit but there is a worry he didn't handle the track as well as needed. | ||||||||

| Showed very little on his Kenilworth debut but the booking of Andrew Fortune to ride catches the eye. Bound to improve and could go well today but an awful lot more will be needed for him to compete. | ||||||||

| Excellent 3rd to Declarator on his debut at Kenilworth over this 1200mtrs and can be forgiven his last run over the same C&D when casting a shoe, a repeat of his debut would see him go close today. | ||||||||

A good read of the form book points straight to Brett Crawford's IMPERIAL DANCER who has placed so many times. He is the number one choice and can win this from Summer Sky who gets 6 lb from the selection. The latter's supporters will have to assume he bounces back after a poor effort (with excuses), but could hold off Heelagainstthehead who will be closing in for third. |
