Highly-promising individual who created a good impression when winning both starts as a 2-y-o in maiden at Yarmouth and novice at Windsor. She may not have beaten much but she clearly has plenty of potential and could be on a lenient opening mark.

Deservedly opened his account in a Redcar (5f) novice on final start as a 2-y-o for Harry Charlton. Subsequently gelded and good efforts when runner-up both starts this season, latest in handicap at Chester (5f, good to firm) 7 days ago. running on late after meeting trouble. Makes the shortlist.

Strong-travelling sort had some solid 2-y-o form but wasn't seen to best effect on his return (gelded in the interim) at Sandown (5f). He came in for support then and isn't one to write off this season.

Opened her account in a 5f Ripon maiden last summer and wasn't disgraced when fifth in Prix d'Arenberg at Longchamp (5f, good) when last seen in August. Has an 8-month absence to overcome and any positive market vibes should be noted on handicap debut.

Got off the mark in a novice at Redcar (5f) in June before a fine third to the subsequent Gimcrack winner at Thirsk. Good fourth in nursery at Doncaster (6f, good, 11/2) in September and has been gelded since. His 2-y-o form looks quite strong overall and he's a big player on return.

Has displayed plenty of speed in winning her first 2 races over 5f at Southwell, showing a good attitude to overcome a penalty 17 days ago. Switches to handicaps/turf and is open to improvement.

Made a promising start to the season when placed on first 2 outings. Bit below form sixth of 10 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, 11/4) 17 days ago, finishing with running left. Looks capable from this mark but her tardy starts are a concern.

Winner at Sandown (5f) in August and wasn't beaten far in a listed contest at Newbury later that month. Form dipped afterwards but showed plenty of encouragement when third of 14 in handicap at Thirsk (5f, good) on return 27 days ago after leaving Andrew Balding.

Kept busy last year, winning a Beverley maiden in August and nursery at Musselburgh the following month, both over 5f. 50/1, very good sixth of 12 in handicap at Chester (6f, good to firm) 9 days ago, having been drawn wide. May find a few lightly-raced sorts too strong.

Had 3 outings over 6f last year, winning a maiden on Newcastle's tapeta and novice at Leicester on good to soft. May have needed the run when no better than mid-field on handicap debut at Ripon (6f, good) 29 days ago. Will be one to note in the betting with that run under her belt.

7/2, stepped up markedly on stable debut/reappearance when winning 8-runner handicap at Catterick (5f, good to firm) 23 days ago, making all. Is unlikely to get things her own way out in front upped in grade but she's a straightforward type.

No solid form in 3 starts for Diego Dias at 2 yrs but has progressed in 3 handicap outings at Southwell for current yard, winning 8-runner contest (5f) 36 days ago, well on top finish. Needs to improve again in this higher grade.

Novice winner at Wolverhampton (5f) in November. In first-time blinkers, ran up to best when fourth of 9 in handicap (2/1) over that C&D in March. Sold from Archie Watson for 26,000 gns since. Others are more persuasive.

Runner-up on all 3 starts but hard to fault his attitude. Makes handicap/turf debut in a competitive event.

Has returned better than ever with 3 in-frame efforts this season. Good second of 14 in handicap (16/1) at Beverley (5f, good) 11 days ago. Is no forlorn hope but things will be tougher from 2 Ib out of the weights.

Took a Pontefract maiden in July and resumed winning ways in listed company at Ayr (5f, soft) in September. Ran poorly when last of 7 in minor event at Wolverhampton (6f) in April. Gelded since but has work to do from a 13 Ib higher mark than when last seen in a handicap.

Ayr maiden winner early last season who was an excellent sixth in Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot next time. Wasn't seen to best effect at Fairyhouse in September and unraced since. Subsequently sold from John S. O'Donoghue for 34,000gns and market best guide on handicap debut.

Found improvement to land a Beverley maiden and Ripon nursery (both at 5f) last summer. Possibly needed the run on reappearance at Thirsk (5f, good) 27 days ago. Front runner who may prove vulnerable.

Fairly useful winner in Ireland last year but seems to have lost way since leaving G. M. Lyons and is hard to make a case for here in first-time tongue strap.
