Runner-up over this trip on stable debut at Wolverhampton in December and quickly put a lesser effort behind him when a fast-finishing nose second of 10 to Gallivanted in handicap at Goodwood (1¾m, good, 25/1) 13 days ago, coming from much further back than the winner. Player from 2 lb higher.

Deservedly doubled her career tally at Ffos Las last summer and continued to hold form well after, signing off for the season with a brace of runner-up efforts at Nottingham. Returns from 6 months off with yard in great form and she has to be taken seriously.

Useful handicapper who hasn't had much racing since his successful debut but produced an encouraging effort when fifth of 9 at Kempton (2m) in March. Well backed down in grade at Beverley last time but ran too badly to be true. Remains somewhat unexposed.

Has developed a solid record on all-weather, including a runner-up effort in the Northumberland Vase last year. Proved as good as ever when second to a course specialist at Chelmsford in February, but struggled at Newcastle since. Turf record isn't as solid but he did score over C&D last year.

Winner twice on the Flat in 2024. Third back over hurdles at Bangor in March last year but not seen since taking a heavy fall at Plumpton (21f, good). Can only be watched back on the Flat after a year off.

As reliable as he is versatile, in the frame all 8 starts since winning at Windsor last summer. Emerged with plenty of credit again when second of 6 in handicap (7/2) at Nottingham (1¾m, good) 18 days ago and he should give another good account.

Developed into a smart handicapper in 2022 but has made the track without much success only 3 times since. Opposable back from another 6 months off.

Went the wrong way from Gavin Cromwell and has pulled up both starts over hurdles for current yard. First-time visor needs to have transformative effect.
