Took a big step forward as he belatedly opened his account in 11-runner event at Windsor (1m, good to firm) 8 days ago, benefiting from the return to front-running tactics. Wisely turned out under a 5-lb penalty and could take some pegging back if getting to the front.

C&D winner last summer who backed that up with plenty of creditable efforts. Showed plenty on his Doncaster reappearance (going well when denied a clear run final 1f) but could only match that when fifth of 13 at Thirsk (7f) last time. Edging back down the weights.

Stepped up on reappearance to record his fourth success at Nottingham last month and produced a career best to follow up in 10-runner event at Ripon a week later, responding well from the front. Nudged up another 3 lb but respected in his current mood.

Bounced back to his best with his reappearance under his belt when winning 11-runner handicap at Newcastle (7f) 7 weeks ago, benefiting from the step back up in trip. Nudged up just 2 lb and will be a danger to all if translating that form back to turf.

Won at Newmarket in November and working his way back from 5 months off with respectable efforts so far this year, fourth of 9 at Redcar (1m, good to firm) most recently 8 days ago. Shaped as if he wanted further that day so others look stronger returned to 7f.

Seems better on all-weather these days and added another victory to his tally in 9-runner event at Chelmsford (7f) when last seen in November, drawing clear 1f out having made all. Raised 8 lb for that and will need a career best to take this on return.

Successful over this trip at Newmarket last year and shaped better than bare result on occasions thereafter. Not many positives to glean from both outings this year and is becoming the type that needs things to fall just right. Handicapper drops him another chunk.

Positive start for his new stable when going down by a neck in 12-runner handicap at Newcastle in March, faring best of those ridden prominently. Shaped as if still in form but fell short of translating his recent all-weather improvement back to turf last time so others more appealing.

Back to winning ways with blinkers added at Newcastle (7f) in February and shaped as if just about as good as ever taking on rivals mainly half her age when second of 8 at Wetherby (7f, good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago. Nudged back up 1 lb for that but not out of things.

Better than ever last year, recording back-to-back wins at Chester and Pontefract in June. Backed up that improvement shown in a couple of starts the following month but hasn't been seen since. May well need this outing.

Won at Chelmsford in January for new connections and back to that sort of level returned to 0-85 company when fourth of 10 at Wolverhampton (7f) 8 weeks ago, doing all he could having been left with too much to do. More needed back on turf.

Mixed bag last season and having resumed on her last winning mark, seemed rusty after 6 months off when fifth of 7 at Leicester (6f, good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago. Could well step up on that with the booking of Marquand catching the eye.

Winless in 2025 but did make the frame on his final 4 outings, not ideally placed when third of 8 in seller at Chester (7.6f, heavy) on latest. The likelihood is he'll need this back from 7 months off.

Capitalised on a slipping mark when scoring over C&D last summer but struggled to get competitive in 5 subsequent starts. Makes return 2 lb below that last winning mark.

Won 7f novice at Chester on debut last autumn. Matched that form in defeat on his next 4 starts and had the longer trip/losing a shoe on the way to post as possible excuses for weakening at Nottingham (1¼m) last time. Back down at 7f for the first time since his debut.

Matched a 30-year modern-day record of 8 straight handicap wins at Southwell in February and emerged with credit in defeat over a trip on the short side for him when runner-up over 6f at Wolverhampton in March. Not so good back on turf last time and others preferred kept to this trip.

Second all-weather success when seeing off 7 rivals at Chelmsford in February. Creditable third back there next time but has run poorly on turf the last twice, without his usual headgear on latest. Visor reapplied but hard to enthuse over.

Got off the mark at the third attempt in 6f maiden at Newcastle in November. Struggled making handicap/turf debut after 5 months off at Newbury (6f, good) 4 weeks ago and now heads up in trip.

Has hinted at times since joining this stable that he can take advantage of a falling mark at some stage but was well held after 4 months off at Doncaster in March. Blinkers reapplied for this return to 7f and shouldn't be ruled out completely.

As good as ever when successful at Newcastle in January and back to his best when ½-length third of 12 at Lingfield (1m) last month. Has struggled on turf in recent seasons, including last time, so that's a good enough reason to look elsewhere.

Took advantage of a drop in the weights at Newcastle in December but has been well below that level in 3 subsequent outings, the latest back there after 3 months off. Returns to turf and others look more appealing.

Recorded back-to-back wins last summer but ended the year out of form and has offered precious little in 4 starts for new connections.
