Lightly-raced 4-y-o who continued theme of race-by-race progress when off the mark in 4-runner Wolverhampton novice (6f) in February. That wasn't a strong race by any means but respected nevertheless from what looks a fair opening mark on turf/handicap debut.

Four-time winner for Ed Bethell who has stepped up a little on each of his all-weather runs of late, weakening only late on when fourth at Newcastle (6f) 3 weeks ago. Not one to write off from steadily easing mark.

Posted a career-best effort in refitted tongue tie when doubling career tally at Newcastle (5f) in January. Never on terms following a tardy start back there a month later and he's no forlorn hope back on turf.

Three-time C&D winner who ended 2025 below his best but posted a respectable fifth following 3 months off over C&D 8 days ago. Another to have dipped below last winning mark and he's one to bear in mind.

Without a win since 2024 but he ended last term with a couple of solid efforts (in a visor) in 6f handicaps at Pontefract and Newcastle for Richard Fahey. Shaped as if needing last month's reappearance for new yard at Doncaster and this can reveal more.

Hamilton specialist who added 3 more wins there last year. Disappointing end to the season but step back in right direction after 5 months off when second at Pontefract (5f, soft) 11 days ago. Again goes without usual headgear but she's certainly lurking on a handy mark.

Back to winning ways at Hamilton (5f) in September and returned with a creditable fourth over the same trip at Doncaster in March. No easy task from a low draw at Musselburgh (5f) 6 days ago and potentially well housed in stall 18 on this occasion. Possibilities.

Fair maiden who changed hands for 30,000 gns and still looked to be finding his feet in 2 all-weather runs for new yard over the winter. However, unexposed over sprint trips and no surprise were they to find the key to him. One to monitor in the betting for a positive move.

Breakthrough Newcastle win was his first start over 5f and excuses back there having been denied a run over 1f out next time. Not disgraced when fourth at Southwell last week and he's an each-way player back on turf.

Tasted success 4 times over 5f last year, latterly at Hamilton in August. Form tailed off thereafter but showed up well for a long way after 6 months off when seventh in a C&D handicap last week. That ought to have blown the cobwebs away and she's now 2 lb below last winning mark.

Comes here on a long losing run but went close on 2 occasions from higher marks last season. Below best on final start at Catterick in October but he's performed well fresh previously and this trip is within range. Not discounted.
