Southwell novice winner (1m) on second outing and improved form in 2 starts last season, battling well for success on handicap debut at this course (7f) in June. Has wide draw to overcome as he moves up in trip after further 10-month absence.

Improved for going up in trip last season, doubling his tally in 11f handicap at Kempton in August. Again ran well when third over the same C&D to end the campaign in November and he's capable when fresh (successful on last year's return).

Completed a hat-trick in first half of 2025 and resumed winning ways/progress after 8 months off at Newcastle in February. Found things tougher in the Roseberry at Kempton 3 weeks ago, but return to this grade should be more suitable.

Won first 2 starts for this yard last spring and plenty of good efforts in defeat subsequently, including when runner-up twice on all-weather in the autumn. Excuses the last twice, badly hampered at Musselburgh on return, so no surprise to see him bounce back with hood fitted.

Useful at best for Kevin Ryan but below that level for current yard, returning from a trio of starts over hurdles when finishing well held at Wolverhampton last month. Hood now reached for with tongue strap back on.
