Well held in novice on the Flat for Charlie Appleby last spring and similar story initially in this sphere prior to bolting up on his handicap debut at Exeter (17f, good to soft) last week. Will prove very hard to beat under a penalty if in anything like the same form.

Hasn't really improved for the switch to handicaps but latest third of 11 at Wincanton (2½m, good) was a creditable effort nonetheless. Eased 2 lb since and not without an each-way chance.

Winner on the Flat for Rod Millman in 2024 but yet to show any real spark over hurdles, including on recent handicap debut in this sphere. Now tried in a tongue strap.

Second in 3-runner event sole start in Irish points and has so far offered little over hurdles. Hooded last 3 starts but connections now experiment with first-time cheekpieces and tongue strap, plus she's undergone a breathing operation since her latest outing.

Left previous hurdles form behind sent handicapping when runner-up at Huntingdon (2m, heavy) in February. However, he has failed to repeat that effort in 2 subsequent starts.

Made the frame on several occasions in 2024 and bettered his first 2 efforts of this season when fourth of 11 in first-time cheekpieces at Stratford (2m, good to soft) last time. This step back up in trip will help but it's surprising that the cheekpieces are discarded here.

Fair form at best following half-a-dozen runs over hurdles and will need to find improvement from somewhere if he's to emerge on top here.

Fair form in 3 Flat starts for Harry Eustace before changing hands for 42,000 gns during the winter. Glimmers of ability in juvenile/maiden hurdles initially but no show pitched into handicaps the last twice.

Couple of decent efforts to his name over hurdles, not least when fourth in an 11-runner C&D handicap last month. However, he's failed to reproduce that level of form in 2 subsequent starts and is now 0-21 overall (Flat and jumps).

Finished midfield on sole start in bumpers and yet to trouble the judge in this sphere, failing to improve for the switch to handicap company/addition of blinkers (retained here) at Wincanton 3 weeks ago.

Poor maiden hurdler who was pulled up on first start in this headgear combination at Hereford last month. Hopes pinned on subsequent breathing operation sparking a jolt of improvement.
