Finally opened his account when making a winning start for this yard at Southwell (6f) last month. Unlucky not to follow up over the same C&D next time and, though below par (again at Southwell) recently, he will be a threat if able to fire on all cylinders back on turf.

Notched fourth C&D success when landing this race 12 months ago. Same mark this time round and, though well held at Southwell last time (reportedly bled), it would be no surprise were he to bounce back with a bold show returned to this course.

C&D winner a couple of years ago and has won twice on the all-weather for new yard this year. Solid efforts in defeat last 3 starts (all over this trip) and, provided he's able to continue the good work now returned to turf, this 6-y-o should be on the premises once again.

Winner off this mark in a first-time visor at Wolverhampton (7f) in December. Hasn't managed to repeat the dose in 3 subsequent starts but sports new headgear (cheekpieces and a hood replace the visor) and this drop back to the minimum trip is an interesting move.

Enjoyed a productive campaign last season, winning 4 times, including a 7f handicap at this course. Stepped up on her reappearance effort when a creditable third of 8 back here (6f, good to firm) a fortnight ago and she should give another good account.

Bits and pieces of fair form to his name, including when placed all 3 visits here in 2025, but efforts so far this season leave much to be desired.

Naas nursery winner for previous connections and produced his best effort since that breakthrough success when third of 14 in a Dundalk handicap on third and final run for Ciaran Murphy. However, his profile is too patchy for comfort and it's hard to know what to expect of him on debut for new yard.

Enjoyed a purple patch last spring, scoring over this C&D and twice at Ripon. However, ended 2025 campaign on a downer and started this one on an equally sombre note at Thirsk 12 days ago.

Not a regular winner and while he's not badly treated (just 1 lb higher than for his latest success at Newcastle in September) others make more appeal on balance.

Generally struggled last term but has edged down to an attractive mark as a consequence and a line can be drawn through her C&D reappearance 2 weeks ago (encountered traffic problems). She attracted support that day and it'll be interesting if the market again speaks in her favour.
