Remains a maiden following 16 attempts but posted another solid effort when close fourth over 6f here 7 days ago, a tad free having had company up front. Effective at this longer trip and likely player provided he settles better on this occasion.

Belatedly off the mark from 1 lb lower mark at Wolverhampton in December and plenty of creditable efforts have followed, albeit looking far from an easy ride in first-time blinkers (retained) when second back there 5 days ago. Strike rate tempers enthusiasm.
