Fair bumper/maiden hurdle winner who seems to be building up to something in handicaps, finishing closer than previously when fourth of 13 in first-time cheekpieces at Haydock last time, and could prove a different proposition over this longer trip (plenty of stamina in his pedigree).

Lightly-raced 6-y-o showed much improved form on second attempt at this sort of trip, jumping well to win a 7-runner 3m handicap at Ffos Las. He's far from exposed, though now in a deeper race away from soft/heavy ground.

Bounced right back to form in first-time cheekpieces when third in a competitive handicap at Ascot and backed that up with a creditable third behind an in-form pair at Warwick 3 weeks ago. Clearly in good heart and needs considering.

Has been largely consistent over hurdles (including in better company than this) and after an unsuccessful stint over fences, finished third behind a couple of likeable types at Newbury last time. Should give his running again.

Turned over an odds-on Willie Mullins rival to make a winning start for Olly Murphy at Fakenham and having run too badly to be true on subsequent handicap debut at Hereford, he's probably worth another chance over a trip that should suit (plenty of stamina on dam's side).

Relatively lightly-raced 8-y-o who wasn't disgraced when last of 5 in Plumpton mares handicap in January, though again may not find this enough of a test.

Low-mileage 9-y-o landed a brace of handicaps at around 3m in 2023, though clearly hasn't been the easiest to train, shaping as if needing the run (first start for 16 months) in gruelling conditions at Newbury 7 weeks ago.

Front-runner who landed his second handicap of the season at Plumpton in November. No excuses for disappointing effort at Newbury latest, though back in calmer waters now, and he's worth a go over this longer trip given his style.

Won the EBF Final at Sandown in March 2024 but hasn't progressed as might have been expected since, ending a run of non-completions when well held fifth of 9 at Newbury a month ago, carrying head awkwardly.

Hit the frame in 3 consecutive handicap hurdles before disappointing over fences at Chepstow (usually goes well there) last time. Blinkers replace cheekpieces and does look the type to benefit from more severe headgear.

Fairly useful chaser at best but lost his way for Gavin Cromwell and doesn't look obviously well treated on hurdles return/stable debut.
