Back on the up provided with a suitably strong gallop when winning a 12-runner handicap at Southwell (7.1f) 84 days ago. Player from 2 lb higher mark if big field and helps him settle stepped back up in trip.

Has largely held form well at 7f this winter, winning at Southwell and running creditably when fifth there last week. Perhaps more effective over that trip than he is over 1m, though.

Has a good record under this amateur (including when third in this last year) and added to tally at Lingfield in January. Remained in good form since, performing creditably on yard debut (formerly trained by Darryll Holland) when fifth of 12 at Southwell 19 days ago. Looks competitive on form.

No better than respectable efforts since making a winning debut at Newcastle last April, though was very well backed when last seen at that track in October and booking of Cagney rates as a positive.

Appreciates soft ground and won at Ayr and Thirsk across a largely positive 2025 campaign. Shaped as if better for the run when last of 8 in handicap (33/1) on return at Newcastle (7.1f) 23 days ago and wouldn't be fully discounted at long odds if able to step forward.

Winner of an amateur event over 1¼m at Newbury last summer and shaped well when third over that trip at Chelmsford on return. Not seen to best effect having a rare start under a professional rider at Wolverhampton earlier this month. Back down in trip now.

Off the mark upped to 1m at Kempton in December but hasn't beaten a rival on either start since, so plenty to prove at present.

Capitalised on drop in the weights when getting off the mark at Newcastle in January and doubled her tally at that same C&D 18 days ago. Didn't find the gaps materialising when sixth there the following week and is respected despite being drawn on flank.

Posted a solid effort returning from 5 months off when third of 9 at Newcastle (7.1f) 33 days ago. Should be suited by step back up in trip and holds frame claims.

Losing run is mounting up but deserves credit for consistency, runner-up under this rider at Southwell in January and performed respectable despite being caught wide throughout at Wolverhampton 30 days ago. Respected.

Promising third to the high-class Whirl on debut here back in 2024, though hasn't really kicked on as expected across 4 starts since, though admittedly wasn't seen to great effect on either start in handicaps. Others preferred after 174 days off.

Made the track only once as a juvenile and shaped as if handicaps would see him to better light in 2 starts on all-weather last winter. Has 13-month absence to overcome but could prove capable of better now stepping into this company.

Gained second win of 2025 at Wolverhampton in December and has run respectably in defeat all 3 starts there since. Others perhaps look better treated, though.

Won at Cork last spring for Noel Meade but form tailed off towards end of year and failed to build on the mild promise of his stable debut at Southwell earlier this month. Does have a better record on turf, at least.

Winner of a 7f Kempton novice as a juvenile but struggled in a brief 3-y-o campaign and checked out tamely all 3 starts this season after 7 months off.

Won amateurs events at Beverley and Pontefract in the summer and held form well in 3 subsequent completed outings. Has tended to need his reappearance, though, and has had another breathing operation during 174-day break.

Ended a long losing run at Redcar (1¼m) in October and wasn't seen to anywhere near best effect at Southwell next time. Fewer excuses at Newcastle subsequently and others make more appeal dropping back in trip after 123 days off.

Runner-up under this rider at Lingfield in January and has continued to shape as if reasonable heart since, looking stretched by the trip when sixth at Newcastle (1½m) last month. This is much tougher company, though.

Without a win last year but fared better than of late from his easing mark when second of 10 at Wolverhampton (7f) in February. Caught wide throughout at Kempton last time but this is more competitive company than he usually keeps having a now rare start beyond 7f.

Modest handicapper on a lengthy losing run and she signed off last season with a brace of poor efforts. Unlikely winner on first outing for 152 days.
