Speedy type stepped up markedly on her comeback when fourth at Bath on Monday, and while she'll probably benefit from the removal of a hood, this is a much deeper race.

Creditable third on reappearance at Pontefract and while unable to back that up when extending a long losing run at Ripon last time, he's handily treated and well drawn.

Two-time winner chased home a better-treated one in a useful sprint at Newcastle (6f) last time and looks interesting making his first handicap start on turf, with a strongly-run 5f likely to prove right up his street.

Has exploited a reduced mark with a pair of quick-fire victories at Leicester/Salisbury (4 days ago) since rejoining James Owen. Headstrong sort will likely find this run to suit, though a penalty/step up in grade may prevent the hat-trick.

Useful sort wasn't inconvenienced by a tardy start when doubling his career tally in a 16-runner handicap at Sakhir (Bahrain) last time, though has more on his plate back over the minimum trip at this track.

Successful at Ascot in August but ended last season with a whimper and has fared little better in either start this year. Does have a fine record at this track, though.

On the up when landing back-to-back handicaps on the all-weather and is best forgiven his hat-trick bid at Pontefract last time, having been unable to get tucked in from a tricky draw.

Won 3 times last year but had no excuses second time up this season at Nottingham, and the handicapper hasn't offered any respite.

Given a considerate comeback run at Newbury following a productive 2025 and while capable of better with usual blinkers refitted, stall 12 makes life tricky.
