Brighton 19:21 Odds Comparison

Did well last season, winning Chester handicap before runner-up 3 of next 4 starts. Looked rusty both starts this season 11 weeks apart so worth another chance.

Landed the odds in a 5-runner Southwell novice (1m) in September. Shaped better than the bare result back on turf when fifth at Lingfield 3 weeks ago, paying slightly for quite a big move to challenge in a soundly-run race. Well worth a second look eased another 3 lb and back down in trip.

In good form last autumn, including a win over C&D, and would have made a winning return had he not gone quite so keenly retried over 1¼m at Windsor. Might have found next run coming too soon so worth another chance.

Showed more when close third on handicap bow at Yarmouth in September. Not seen to best effect at Southwell on return and remains low mileage.

Lost his way for Robert Eddery during second half of last year and shaped as if needing comeback run for new yard at Kempton 2 weeks ago. On a potentially good mark so shouldn't be written off.

Back to winning ways over C&D in August and shaped as if needing comeback run at Kempton last month. Better expected now.

Held form well on the back of breakthrough success at Epsom in August and decent efforts in defeat 2 of 3 starts this season. Others look better treated, however.

Won a 7f claimer in France last summer. Mixed record for this yard but last week's second at Lingfield was one of his better efforts.

Failed to win from 10 attempts last season and 3 of his 4 starts this campaign have been poor.

Strong in the betting but possibly still needed the run after a further 7 weeks off from a likewise return. On a good mark on the pick of last season's form.

Twice a winner here last season (both at 7f) and ended the last campaign with a respectable fourth on all-weather in November. May needs this after 7 months off.

Lightly-raced maiden and has showed no signs of improvement sent handicapping this year.

Back from 5 months off with a good second at Lingfield and shaped as if still in form there next time. Not taken lightly back on turf (handles any ground).
