looked one to take on from what appeared a stiff opening mark but is evidently just progressing well and showed much improved form to follow up last month's C&D win; prominent, led under pressure before 2 out, found plenty; may find life tougher next time, set for a mark in the 130s that'll require better still, but he does remain lightly raced.

ran well in first-time hood after 4 months off, showing improved form and doing well under the circumstances, although it has to be acknolwedged that he didn't look 100% straightforward; mid-division, lost place before fifth, seemed unsighted when bad mistake 4 out (just behind Brinestine who also blundered), headway under pressure between 3 out and 2 out, edged left, stayed on.

wasn't disgraced but failed to repeat his last effort; mid-division, off the bridle before most, headway under pressure between 3 out and 2 out, one paced; he strikes as the sort that may benefit from being fitted with headgear.

All 10 ran. Hurdles: 9.

Winning Owner: Sandie & David Newton

Time: 3m 55.4s

Overrounds: Industry SP 114%, Betfair SP 99.6%

This didn't take a huge amount of winning for a 0-135 but it was all in-form horses that came to the fore, Hint of Mint and Purple Bay two of the less exposed ones, and it was run at a sound pace.

HINT OF MINT looked one to take on from what appeared a stiff opening mark but is evidently just progressing well and showed much improved form to follow up last month's C&D win; prominent, led under pressure before 2 out, found plenty; may find life tougher next time, set for a mark in the 130s that'll require better still, but he does remain lightly raced.

LAC SACRE (FR) ran creditably and continues in good heart but was undone by 10 lb rise in the weights for recent Ffos Las win; held up, headway under pressure 3 out, kept on, had every chance.
