got turned over by one that has an interesting profile last time and showed he's still in good form back in a competitive handicap, but he's obviously vulnerable to less-exposed sorts; led, headed 4f out, kept on.

took to the surface in great style, looming up over 3f out, but he had a problem last time and the way he stopped here suggests connections haven't got to the bottom of it just yet; prominent, travelled well, challenged 2f out, found nothing.

All 8 ran.

Winning Owner: Richard and Nicola Hunt

Time: 2m 41.9s Closing Sectional: (3f): 43.33s (93.4%)

Overrounds: Industry SP 113%, Betfair SP 101.9%

A useful handicap but form probably not as strong as it looked like it might be beforehand as the pair from top yards that headed the market both ultimately disappointed; the winner was never far away and only the runner-up landed a blow from behind.

LUV U WHATEVER followed up from 8 lb higher mark in this much better race, relishing another aggressive ride and confirming himself a much-improved performer; prominent, led 4f out, kept on well, driven out; likely to go well again around here.

GABRIAL'S STAR making fibresand debut, is well exposed but ran a good race and just got going too late; in rear, off the bridle long way out, finished well, nearest at the finish; will prove suited by a return to 1¾m.

REVE DE NUIT (USA) got turned over by one that has an interesting profile last time and showed he's still in good form back in a competitive handicap, but he's obviously vulnerable to less-exposed sorts; led, headed 4f out, kept on.

THE LOCK MASTER (IRE) back up in trip, shaped similarly to last time; mid-field, outpaced, plugged on.

SOLIDARITY took to the surface in great style, looming up over 3f out, but he had a problem last time and the way he stopped here suggests connections haven't got to the bottom of it just yet; prominent, travelled well, challenged 2f out, found nothing.

DEUCE AGAIN made short work of inferior rivals here last time but proved to be a major disappointment making handicap debut up in grade and is surely better than this; raced wide, in rear, beaten long way out.

SAPTAPADI (IRE) offered little after 5 months off; always behind.

KINGSCOMBE (USA) goes well here but was 6 lb out of the weights up in grade and was beaten a long way out.
