in the form of his life at Meydan in the winter, ran at least as well after 4 months off, though was seen to maximum effect, able to dominate after likely pacemaker Fattsota didn't lead; made all, travelled well, ridden over 1f out, kept on well, unchallenged; clearly in good heart, though faces tougher tasks ahead.

Three of the 4 were closely matched on form, though in the event, one, Fattsota, failed to give his running, reportedly after banging his head on the stalls, while Tha'ir was seen to much better advantage than Provenance the way the race unfolded, a cautious view of the form best taken in the circumstances.
