came up short behind subsequent Irish Oaks winner Covert Love on her first attempt in this grade, but was a totally different proposition 7 weeks on, always well placed but full value for the improvement on the day, connections sure to have Group-race aspirations after this; chased leader, led on bridle over 2f out, shaken up over 1f out, edged left but forged clear.

ran well but couldn't quite make the successful leap from handicaps, having no excuses the way this developed, though that is not to say this will prove her limit, connections deeming her worthy of entries in the Blandford Stakes and the Group-1 fillies event on British Champions Day; prominent, ridden over 2f out, ran on.

An interesting fillies listed race, the front 2 in the betting progressive handicappers stepping up in class, the next 2 in the market proven at this level, but they were all eclipsed by 33/1-chance Journey, and for all few got involved from off the pace there appeared no fluke about it, a good gallop contributing to a new track record.

JOURNEY came up short behind subsequent Irish Oaks winner Covert Love on her first attempt in this grade, but was a totally different proposition 7 weeks on, always well placed but full value for the improvement on the day, connections sure to have Group-race aspirations after this; chased leader, led on bridle over 2f out, shaken up over 1f out, edged left but forged clear.

CHAIN OF DAISIES had her winning run ended but certainly wasn't disgraced upped in class, making another bold bid from the front, setting a sound gallop, capable of making more of an impact in this company in future; led, headed over 2f out, one paced.

PROVENANCE set the standard, better than the result in this grade the last twice, but wasn't at her best for whatever reason, a swift return to form likely given her record; mid-field, ridden over 2f out, not quicken.

THIS IS THE DAY again ran below form, not quite at this level even when on her game; in touch, lost place over 2f out, soon beaten.

PAMONA (IRE) was disappointing, looking a shade awkward under pressure; waited with, brief headway over 1f out, effort flattened out.

MAYBELATER had been going the right way in handicaps, but was being asked a much stiffer question here and was well held; in touch, weakened over 1f out.
