ran at least as well as last time to follow up and make breakthrough at this level after just 3 days off, a fully-fledged rider doing the steering this time, crucially getting first run of the fast-finishing second; close up, effort, led approaching final 1f, responded well; should remain competitive, worth trying in a minor pattern race while he's thriving like this.

found it easier at this level for the first time in well over a year and might easily have won - wthout needing to run up to his best - had things gone differently, unable to claw back the winner after conceding that one a head start; mid-division, effort 2f out, chased leader final 1f, stuck to task.

got back on track in first-time blinkers after 8 weeks off, apparently value for a career best, though she had the run of things; made running, effort over 2f out, headed approaching final 1f, one paced; remains to be seen if able to back this up, unlikely to be much easier to place even if she can.

ran badly, even if possibly short of fitness after 3 months off, looking a hard ride; mid-division, typically pulled hard, shaken up over 2f out, hung right, weakened.

All 8 ran.

Winning Owner: Kilco (International) Ltd

Overrounds: Industry SP 113%, Betfair SP 101.6%

The winner is in rampant form but probably didn't need to improve to land a steadily-run race in which he got first run on his main market rival, the standard of form below the level it normally takes to win in listed company.

TENOR (IRE) ran at least as well as last time to follow up and make breakthrough at this level after just 3 days off, a fully-fledged rider doing the steering this time, crucially getting first run of the fast-finishing second; close up, effort, led approaching final 1f, responded well; should remain competitive, worth trying in a minor pattern race while he's thriving like this.

PRODUCER found it easier at this level for the first time in well over a year and might easily have won - wthout needing to run up to his best - had things gone differently, unable to claw back the winner after conceding that one a head start; mid-division, effort 2f out, chased leader final 1f, stuck to task.

EMELL again ran at least respectably in another steadily-run race, never really threatening a win; in touch, effort 2f out, kept on.

AMULET got back on track in first-time blinkers after 8 weeks off, apparently value for a career best, though she had the run of things; made running, effort over 2f out, headed approaching final 1f, one paced; remains to be seen if able to back this up, unlikely to be much easier to place even if she can.

EMPIRE STORM (GER) was below form, extended long losing run; handy, effort over 2f out, not quicken; generally opposable.

BOLD THADY QUILL (IRE) after just 4 days off, wasn't in same form as last time; dwelt, in rear, ridden over 2f out, made no impression, unsuited by the way the race developed.

SPA'S DANCER (IRE) back down in trip, was well held; slowly into stride, in rear, pushed along over 2f out, made no impression, unsuited by the way the race developed.

CORDITE (IRE) ran badly, even if possibly short of fitness after 3 months off, looking a hard ride; mid-division, typically pulled hard, shaken up over 2f out, hung right, weakened.
