returned to firmer ground, bounced back to best to land her first success in listed company, just doing enough to hold the runner-up at bay having been better placed than her throughout; in touch, led on bridle under 3f out, shaken up soon after, tackled last ½f, kept on well, just held on; this wasn't a strong race for the grade, but will continue to give a good account nonetheless.

had produced a career-best on reappearance and progressed again back up in grade, evidently an improved model this year and arguably unlucky not to prevail again given she challenged from much further back than the winner, whilst not getting a clear run either; in rear, pushed along over 2f out, had to wait for gap until over 1f out, finished well, just failed; should remain competitive.

ran creditably up in grade, particularly as she wasn't ideally placed as this went, leaving the impression there's a bigger effort in her still; held up, ridden out wide from 3f out, kept on well inside final 1f, never nearer; remains with potential.

looked the one to beat on her group form in Europe last year, though had offered little on debut for Marco Botti and again ran below form, making really hard work of this back down in trip and returned to turf; mid-field, off the bridle before most, kept on close home, never nearer.

ran respectably, essentially coming up short back in listed company; waited with, smooth headway from 3f out, disputed lead 2f out, no extra last ½f.

One of the weaker events of its type throughout the year, proven pattern performers very thin on ground; the gallop was slow, the winner much better placed than most in that regards, certainly the runner-up.

ELBERETH returned to firmer ground, bounced back to best to land her first success in listed company, just doing enough to hold the runner-up at bay having been better placed than her throughout; in touch, led on bridle under 3f out, shaken up soon after, tackled last ½f, kept on well, just held on; this wasn't a strong race for the grade, but will continue to give a good account nonetheless.

CEASELESS (IRE) was well held after 11 months off; in touch, shaken up 3f out, weakened from 2f out.

FORTE offered little on first outing since leaving Ralph Beckett after 10 months off; led, headed 3f out, hung right and soon beaten.
