progressed again to follow up his recent win under good value 10-lb claimer, showing useful form and clearly thriving on racing at present; mid-field, travelled powerfully, crept closer 3 out, challenged last, went on run-in, kept going well; will continue to give good account.

has only had 4 starts for this yard but looks to have found his feet on this evidence and he has plenty of handicapping scope from much-reduced mark, which gives hope he can end his long losing run soon; in touch, challenged 2 out, led before last, headed run-in, kept on but no match for improving winner; will remain of interest.

ran well on handicap debut after 7 weeks off, moving through the race as if capable of defying this mark, clear of the rest in pursuit of a well-treated duo; prominent, travelled well, led 2 out, headed last, no extra; likely to continue in form.

fared little better back over hurdles after 7 weeks off, perhaps still in need of the run after missing the whole of 2014, but he certainly has it all to prove; led, slow fourth, headed 2 out, weakened.

Few positives to be taken from outside the placed horses but both the second and third have something to recommend them and yet were swept aside by the impressive winner, who looks much improved this year; the pace was fair.
