Ended last season firmly on the up, going away at the finish when bringing up the hat-trick in a C&D handicap in October. Could run only respectably when seventh in the Lincoln on reappearance but that was far from a backward step and good chance he can regain the progressive thread.

Smart performer at his best but largely found things tough last year. Can have a line put through last month's Spring Cup reappearance, barely coming off the bridle having never had room to fully open up. Mark has eased a little more ahead of this.

Winner of 3 of his 9 starts in France, most recently landing a 1m Deauville handicap last summer. Went without headgear (again discarded) after 5 months off when down the field in last month's Spring Cup and this promises to reveal a good deal more.

Had an up and down 2025 having won 3 times as a 3-y-o but at least starts off new season below his winning mark and stable hitting form at just the right time.

Did well last season, winning 3 times and not seen to best effect in Cambridgeshire on final start in September. Shaped as if needing his recent reappearance run when seventh at Lingfield (7.5f, good to firm) 2 weeks ago but will need to step up plenty on that to feature here.

Landed a sixth Goodwood success in the Golden Mile last summer. Mixed bag thereafter but confirmed he retains all his ability when fifth at Thirsk in April. Not so good last time but give underfoot here a big plus and he's 3 lb below last winning mark.

Useful but remains with only a maiden win to his name and following a breathing operation/6 months off, he finished well held in the Victoria Cup at Ascot at the start of the month. Had a difficult draw on that occasion but others more persuasive in any case.

Successful from a 2 lb higher mark at Sandown (7f, soft) last summer and posted easily his best effort of present campaign when fifth at Chester (7.5f) 17 days ago. Looks worthy of another crack at 1m on balance and he's not out of things.

Much improved switched to handicaps, landing back-to-back 1m contests at Chelmsford/Sandown last summer. Far from disgraced when sixth in French listed contest on final outing but struggled from much-inflated mark on last month's Wolverhampton return.

Successful only start at 2 yrs and runner-up on 3 of his 4 starts last season, shaping with abundant promise when chasing home Eternal Force at Newbury (1m, soft) in September. Entitled to be sharper for last month's reappearance and forecast conditions look firmly in his favour.

Benefited from the ease in class and enhanced good record fresh when successful at Southwell (1m) in April. However, not in same form back in a stronger company at Ascot since and present mark demands that bit more.

Won the Carlisle Bell off this mark last summer. Form gradually tailed off thereafter but showed benefit of last month's Newbury reappearance when going down narrowly at Thirsk (1m) last week. Has conditions in his favour again and he's another fancied to be in the mix.

Free-going sort who showed improved form allowed to stride on when making all over 7f here in July. However, didn't get away with failing to settle when fourth over that trip on final start in August. Appeals as the type to benefit from a subsequent gelding operation.

Back-to-back winner of 7f handicaps last summer and has returned in good nick, matching Doncaster reappearance fourth when filling same spot at Thirsk 5 weeks ago. Steps back up to 1m now and others appeal more for win purposes.
