Successful twice last year, with latest win at Newcastle (1¼m) in September. After 4 months off, was unlucky not to finish closer when fourth of 12 at the same course (1m) in March, meeting trouble in running. Major player back down in grade.

Off the mark in cosy fashion at Ayr (7f) last summer. However, failed to repeat that effort back up to 1m at the same course next time, before possibly needing the run after 7 months off at Musselburgh a week ago.

Thrived during the autumn, winning twice over this C&D in September and also at Pontefract the following month. Ran well under a penalty when fourth of 8 at Leicester on final outing, so he merits consideration back here on return (landed this race in 2024).

Went the right way in 3 starts in Germany last year, opening account in 9f minor event at Cologne in June. Off 10 months ahead of first run since leaving Andreas Wohler, so the market could be informative as he makes handicap debut.

Free-going type who was runner-up in this race last year, before going one better here (9f) next time. Without a win since but ran respectably when fifth of 9 at Newcastle on latest outing in March. May not get the race run to suit in this contest, though.

Fairly useful form for Harry Charlton last year and stepped forward from seasonal/stable debut when seventh of 12 in handicap at Musselburgh (9f) 7 days ago, left poorly placed. More needed if she's to gain a breakthrough success. Cheekpieces back on.

Didn't manage a win in 2025 but placed 3 times in handicaps during the spring, including when third in this race. Form was mixed the remainder of the campaign, though, running poorly at Ayr when last seen in September. First run since leaving Richard Fahey.
