Fontwell Park 17:42 Odds Comparison

Completed a handicap hurdle hat-trick around 2½m in December/January. Failed to take to chasing at Fakenham in March but respected back over the smaller obstacles.

Improved form with cheekpieces (retained) added when off the mark in 21f Plumpton handicap (good to soft) last month. The runner-up has won since and this 7-y-o looks well treated off 3 lb higher if the headgear continues to work.

Overcame inexperience to make a winning bumper debut at Huntingdon in November 2024 but has yet to match that form over hurdles, including beaten 19 lengths when third on last month's 19f course handicap debut.

Successful at Exeter (19f, good) in October on first run back with Alan Jones but poor efforts on both outings since, albeit very testing ground was probably against him last time. Worth a look in the betting back from 4 months off.

Narrowly beaten by a subsequent winner at Worcester (2½m) last summer. Out of form when last seen in the autumn but back on the same mark as at Worcester if refreshed by a break.

Landed a pair of 19f course handicaps in in December/January. Well beaten twice since, including back from a break at Ffos Las (3m) 24 days ago, but it's possible a return to Fontwell could spark a revival.

Veteran who hasn't won since 2024. Respectable fifth of 12 over 19f here 12 days ago but suspicion the wait for his next win will go on.

Won twice last spring but ran no sort of race back from a break at Wincanton 6 weeks ago. Hard to be confident about after that.

Fairly useful maiden on Flat for Owen Burrows in 2024 but lost his form on the level for Anthony Charlton and no real promise over hurdles for current yard, with latest 3m fourth of 5 at Taunton no step forward. Cheekpieces off, second-time visor back on.

Poor maiden who has been held back by her headstrong ways so far, including when fourth of 7 over 2¼m here last time. It remains to be seen whether this step up in trip helps matters.
