In fine form this spring and notched a second win of the campaign in a 15-runner event at Thirsk (6f) last month. Backed that up with another good effort up in grade to finish third of 16 in handicap at Newbury (6f, good) 22 days ago and he's shortlisted again.

It's now 26 runs since his last win in 2024 but he's been largely consistent in defeat this season, filling the runner-up spot for the fourth time in the campaign when second of 6 in handicap at Wetherby (5.5f, good to firm, 10/3) 13 days ago. Others preferred for win purposes, though.

Suited by a sound gallop when getting off the mark in a 7-runner novice at Lingfield (6f, all-weather) in December. Big-field environment here should suit and he's still lightly raced in handicaps, so interesting if ready to roll after nearly 5 months off.

Seemed to be going backwards from a promising stable debut at Wolverhampton in February but he stemmed the time in first-time blinkers when fourth of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) 26 days ago, keeping on well after a slow break. Considered if able to back that up.

Won at Wolverhampton/York (6f) last year and ended 2025 with a creditable fourth at Southwell in September. Slow starts gave him little chance on first 2 starts this season but he was unlucky not to score back at Southwell 10 days ago, beaten only a short-head after a troubled passage. Considered.

Runner-up on 4 consecutive occasions in handicaps around 7f this winter prior to recording a deserved success in a 12-runner handicap at Kempton (7f) 31 days ago. Does have form at sprint trips and he should give another good account from a 3 lb higher mark.

Winless last year for Darryll Holland but caught the eye on debut for this yard in November and built on that promise to win a 9-runner handicap at Chelmsford City (6f). Record for previous trainer was patchy but he's clearly still on a workable mark if able to back that up after 5 months off.

Overcame a typically slow break when winning at Southwell (6f) last month and shaped as if still in good form when fifth of 8 at that same C&D 10 days ago. Run style means she requires plenty to drop right but Murphy is an eye-catching jockey booking in this stronger race.

Had plenty in his favour when winning 7-runner handicap at Epsom (7f) in August. Last in a 17-runner race here on his final start last season but shaped as if retaining all ability when 3¼ lengths fourth of 12 to Arantes Nascimento at Kempton (7f) 31 days ago. Regular headgear left off again.

Regular slow starter who opened account at Salisbury (6f) last summer. Good efforts when runner-up in 3 subsequent outings last season and probably needed the run when down the field on his comeback here last week. Expected to do better this time.

Had a very productive 2025, winning 5 times as well as finishing a good second at Salisbury on his penultimate start of the season. Shaped as if better for the run after a 7-month absence when fifth of 9 in handicap at Leicester (6f, good) 26 days ago. Respected.

Winner over 6f at Hamilton last May and mostly creditable efforts in defeat later in the season, notably when second of 9 at Newmarket (6f, good) on final start. Far too free upped to 7.4f at Beverley on return but yard form remains a bit of a concern here.

Better than ever when getting his head back in front at Chelmsford (6f) in January. Disappointed at Kempton 10 days later and freshened up ahead of this return to turf.

Scored in Kempton in January and finished in the placings there twice since. Can have a line put through the his eighth-placed finished in a 9-runner race at Goodwood last week, racing in the unfavoured central group, so is worth treating as if still in form.

Third at Kempton (6f) in December but hasn't beaten a rival across 4 starts since, albeit probably doing too much too soon in front at Lingfield last time. Becoming well treated but hard to fancy in current form.

Sole career win came in 6f Wolverhampton novice last June and placed a couple of times in turf handicaps later in 2025. Looked a difficult ride on his reappearance at Southwell in February and though he's edged down the weights, others still make more appeal now back on turf.

Fourth in a big-field York handicap before edging home in a 6f contest at Ripon last summer. Respectable efforts on first 2 starts this year but look uncomfortable with pace when fourth of 8 in handicap at Pontefract (6f, good) 18 days ago, Refitting of blinkers rates as a positive move.

Won at Newmarket last year for Mick Appleby. Changed hands for 35,000 gns and made a good start to life for new connections when a nose second at Kempton (6f) on return. Down the field at Newbury since, though, and tongue strap now applied.

Seen to better effect than a couple of her rivals when winning 5-runner handicap at Wolverhampton in February and wasn't in the same form under a penalty at Chelmsford the following week. Others make more appeal after a couple of months off.
