somewhat out of the blue, after 2 months off, ran at least as well as she ever has in a lengthy career, clearly likely to look well in if she can run under a penalty before she's reassessed; held up, travelled well, smooth progress 2f out, led over 1f out, in command soon after, won readily.

had her winning run ended, but ran creditably, beating the rest decisively but no match for one returning to her very best from out of the blue; handy, not settle fully, effort 2f out, every chance over 1f out, kept on, no match for winner; likely to remain competitive off her current mark.

shaped as if needing the run on first outing since leaving Kevin Ryan after 11 months off, though enough in her effort to suggest she retains her ability, still relatively lightly raced and of some interest with this behind her; led, travelled well, ridden after 2f out, headed over 1f out, hampered soon after, no extra final 1f.

By no means a deep race and something of a surprise result, the favourite beating the rest convincingly but having no answer to a veteran back to her very best after a break.

PRETTY BUBBLES somewhat out of the blue, after 2 months off, ran at least as well as she ever has in a lengthy career, clearly likely to look well in if she can run under a penalty before she's reassessed; held up, travelled well, smooth progress 2f out, led over 1f out, in command soon after, won readily.

INCLINATION (IRE) had her winning run ended, but ran creditably, beating the rest decisively but no match for one returning to her very best from out of the blue; handy, not settle fully, effort 2f out, every chance over 1f out, kept on, no match for winner; likely to remain competitive off her current mark.

SYMPOSIUM on firmer ground than previously, wasn't disgraced, not helping herself by hanging, but essentially finding this too much a test of speed; prominent, took keen hold, effort after 2f out, hung left, one paced.

SHYPEN was back at 6f and back on firmer going, but fared no better than last time, taking too long to get going; waited with, took keen hold, effort over 2f out, kept on inside final 1f.

LUCKY DI ran respectably, measured by her best turf form over the last year, not obviously well in, despite a drop in her mark; held up, outpaced halfway, kept on well inside final 1f.

BINT ALDAR shaped as if needing the run on first outing since leaving Kevin Ryan after 11 months off, though enough in her effort to suggest she retains her ability, still relatively lightly raced and of some interest with this behind her; led, travelled well, ridden after 2f out, headed over 1f out, hampered soon after, no extra final 1f.

SPIRAEA was in a lesser race than last time, but fared even worse; in touch, shaken up over 2f out, labouring soon after.

VEENA (FR) kept to turf, was again well held; in touch, ridden halfway, edged left, made no impression.
