returned to form, proving at least as good as ever, his last 2 victories now having come over C&D; in touch, swerved over 4f out, led over 1f out, finished well; has been somewhat inconsistent this year, but past exploits have shown his ability to be competitive from higher marks.

after 8 weeks off, bounced back from a number of lesser displays to turn in his best effort of the season, likely to have pushed the winner closer with a clear passage, though that is a risk always associated with this particular individual, very much the type who needs things to fall right and a hard horse to win with; patiently ridden, headway when met some trouble over 1f out, chased leader final 1f, stayed on.

reverted to turf (last seen on this surface back in July 2012), shaped encouragingly on first start since leaving Hughie Morrison after 4 months off; prominent, led over 2f out, headed over 1f out, one paced; should find this putting her spot on for an all-weather campaign and would be of obvious interest returned to Southwell where she has such a tremendous record, though on this evidence she will also command a second look if given another outing on turf.

A fair handicap for the grade and a result that has more substance than most on the day; Rocksilla ploughed a lone furrow against the stand rail, the main action again unfolding centre to far side.

KINGLAMI returned to form, proving at least as good as ever, his last 2 victories now having come over C&D; in touch, swerved over 4f out, led over 1f out, finished well; has been somewhat inconsistent this year, but past exploits have shown his ability to be competitive from higher marks.
