A totally one-sided handicap dominated by a useful sort who is a clearly a natural on this surface, but it was a race in which half the field were struggling by halfway.

ARR' KID (USA) returned to form back on fibresand and made it 2 very impressive wins from 2 starts around here, so he looks sure to prove tough to beat kept to this surface; made all, travelled strongly, drew clear 2f out, had plenty in hand, dominated; sure to go well again.

RECESSION PROOF (FR) who had shaped as if amiss over jumps recently, took little interest making fibresand debut and remains with something to prove; in rear, soon presured, plugged on, never on terms.

LYRIC STREET (IRE) who had fallen heavily over jumps recently, ran poorly switched to fibresand; mid-field, soon under pressure, looked none too keen, made little impression.
