resumed winning ways in first-time cheekpieces (replacing usual visor), well positioned, this a lesser handicap than those he has been contesting of late; chased leader, ridden over 2f out, edged ahead close home; is likely to continue in form, though will be forced back into stronger company from now on and is vulnerable to something less exposed.

lightly raced, stepped up on his reappearance, though not for the first time looked a difficult ride, worth a try in headgear, a hood perhaps ideal; held up, pulled hard, ridden when hung right from over 1f out, kept on.

returning from a 10-week break, looks to have resumed in good heart, his hold-up style not ideal for this track, the type of horse who needs things to fall right; in rear, headway over 1f out, one paced.

making handicap debut, proved easy to back and shaped as if needing the run after 9 months off, a wide trip not helping his cause; mid-division, caught 3-wide, ridden over 2f out, effort flattened out; worth another chance, his mark appealing as fair based on the form of his final juvenile outing.

A rather typical Sandown race, the pair on the front end there throughout, Tigers Tale – third 12 months ago - mastering the pace-setting Ifwecan in the final strides.

TIGERS TALE (IRE) resumed winning ways in first-time cheekpieces (replacing usual visor), well positioned, this a lesser handicap than those he has been contesting of late; chased leader, ridden over 2f out, edged ahead close home; is likely to continue in form, though will be forced back into stronger company from now on and is vulnerable to something less exposed.

MAN OF HARLECH lightly raced, stepped up on his reappearance, though not for the first time looked a difficult ride, worth a try in headgear, a hood perhaps ideal; held up, pulled hard, ridden when hung right from over 1f out, kept on.
