Competitive for a mares novice and the winner looked potentially useful in how she went about it, chased home most closely by a couple of dual winners; the front runner raced clear to 3 out, though overall it was an even pace.

URANNA (FR) is progressing well and followed up from last time in good style, fast on her way to proving useful; raced wide, prominent, travelled powerfully, led approaching 2 out, driven run-in, responded well; will probably do better still and sure to win more races.

RONS DREAM ran creditably in pursuit of a useful rival and has quickly established herself as a tough and likeable mare; held up, steady headway back straight, clouted 4 out, chased leaders next, stuck to task, as though she'll have no problem with 3m.

QUEEN OF THE STAGE (IRE) ran well back in a novice, more so considering her rider was unable to claim, stamina no issue back up in trip, though she may not want to go any further; dropped out, shaken up home turn, headway 2 out, chased leader last, one paced, no extra late on.

BRIERY BELLE ran well on form taking on winners at level weights, again shaping as though an even stiffer test will suit, well ready for 3m; prominent, not fluent third, pushed along home turn, not quicken 2 out, stuck to task; she shouldn't have any trouble winning a maiden or novice hurdle before long.

THEREGOESTHETRUTH (IRE) found it tougher back in a novice but did enough to think she's still in form; held up, headway under pressure 2 out, plugged on, never landed a blow.

BROXBOURNE (IRE) back up in trip, shaped better than distance beaten suggests after 11 weeks off; raced off the pace, good progress out wide before 2 out, not sustain effort; reportedly lost a shoe, and worth another chance.

HEL TARA wasn't disgraced up in grade; mid-field, slow fifth, lost place 3 out, plugged on; she'll be found easier races and should win again, with 3m sure to suit.

MADAME TRIGGER fairly useful in bumpers, faced a stiff task starting out over timber and showed aptitude; raced wide, dropped out, shaken up after 2 out, made no impression, not knocked about; will improve.

GABRIELLA ROSE clearly didn't give her running; held up, met some trouble 4 out, soon done with, might have been amiss.

SAINT LUCY faced a stiff task and moreover was inconvenieced by the longer trip, especially with conditions as they were; prominent, ridden early in straight, weakened before 2 out, beaten when mistake there; likely to benefit from less of a test and remains with potential, with few miles on the clocks and handicaps soon an option.

BALLYHOLLOW back down in trip, shaped as if amiss; raced clear, reduced advantage 3 out, pecked there, headed before next, found nothing.
