on firmer ground than previously, came out on top from 6 lb higher mark after 4 weeks off, is going the right way and has now won 3 of his 5 starts; prominent, travelled well, challenged over 1f out, stayed on to lead inside final 1f, driven out, showed a good attitude; open to further improvement.

was unpenalised for recent win and ran well after just 5 days off, going through a good spell at the moment, though he's not the easiest of rides and possibly just got there too soon having seemed to be going best 1f out; held up, travelled strongly, good headway 2f out, led over 1f out, headed inside final 1f, outbattled; should remain competitive in race run to suit, but will be higher in the weights next time.

after 6 weeks off, wasted no time getting back on track and mark is a fair one, albeit not leaving him with much in hand against unexposed 3-y-os, like the winner; led, headed over 1f out, one paced.

has slipped in the weights, took step back in right direction; held up, travelled smoothly, late headway; best in a strongly-run race and is worth keeping an eye on, well handicapped on the pick of his 2013 form.

A useful handicap run at a fair pace and the only 3-y-o in the field ran out a determined winner at the expense of a bang in-form sort, so it looks solid.

BILLINGSGATE (IRE) on firmer ground than previously, came out on top from 6 lb higher mark after 4 weeks off, is going the right way and has now won 3 of his 5 starts; prominent, travelled well, challenged over 1f out, stayed on to lead inside final 1f, driven out, showed a good attitude; open to further improvement.
