All 7 ran.

Winning Owner: Mrs Shirley France

Time: 2m 0.84s Closing Sectional: (3f): 37.1s (100%)

Overrounds: Industry SP 113%, Betfair SP 100.7%

No more than an averagely competitive at best for a 0-90, though at least it was run at a good enough pace for the result to be true reflection of the field's abilities on the day, things slackening a little towards the end of the back straight after a hectic first couple of furlongs.

BENADALID was strong in the betting and turned in his best effort of the season as he notched his second win in his last 3 starts at a course where he's building a solid record; patiently ridden, headway 3f out, went on under 2f out, ridden out.

FENNAAN (IRE) has slipped back to a mark he can win from when things fall right, more convincing at the trip than previously this time, too, his headstrong nature seemingly being curbed somewhat (back in a hood here); dwelt, settled better than usual, headway under pressure over 2f out, stayed on.

GARDEN OASIS back up in trip, filled the same position as 10 days earlier, again in a better class of handicap than he need contest; tracked pace, shaken up 3f out, kept on.

SANDS CHORUS has a good record here but was forced into going quicker than ideal through the early stages and it bears repeating that he's eligible for far lesser handicaps these days; made running, shaken up over 3f out, headed under 2f out, faded approaching final 1f.

AIYA (IRE) again ran below form, again unable to lead; out wide early, tracked pace, shaken up 3f out, weakened approaching final 1f.

DAWAALEEB (USA) was easy to back going back up in trip and ran poorly, struggling well before the extra distance came into play; raced off the pace, ridden under 4f out, no response.

MULLIGATAWNY (IRE) seems to be in a lull for now; pushed along early, close up, weakened 3f out.
