back off his proper mark, proved better than ever to justify favouritism, taking his all-weather record to 2 wins from 2 starts; held up, good headway under 2f out, quickened to lead final 100 yds, stayed on well; he'll surely go well again in other good handicaps this winter.

A useful and well-contested handicap that promises to make for good form, with reasons to be positive about all of the principals; the pace was sound and the action in the finish took place nearer the stand rail.

ATLETICO (IRE) back off his proper mark, proved better than ever to justify favouritism, taking his all-weather record to 2 wins from 2 starts; held up, good headway under 2f out, quickened to lead final 100 yds, stayed on well; he'll surely go well again in other good handicaps this winter.

MEMORIES GALORE (IRE) back on all-weather, wasted no time getting back to form; held up, travelled well, headway entering final 1f, ran on, conceded first run.

LANDING NIGHT (IRE) shaped as if still in good form tackling better company than usual; dropped out, travelled well, headway entering final 1f, ran on, left with a lot to do.

RICH AGAIN (IRE) ran a lot better than last time, giving the impression that he's on the way back in fact; dropped out, headway approaching final 1f, never landed a blow; he's on the kind of mark he's capable of winning off.

GREEN DOOR (IRE) back on all-weather, was below form; mid-division, chased leaders under 2f out, no extra final 1f.

ROSINA shaped better than last time, possibly still needing this run; raced off the pace, progress over 1f out, faded final 1f.

OLD FASHIONED (CHI) visored and back in a tongue strap, probably needed the run on first outing since leaving Rune Haugen after 7 months off, showing plenty of speed at least, though it remains to be seen whether he can build on this; led until over 1f out, weakened inside final 1f.

FAST TRACK claimer ridden, failed to come on for recent run; in touch, ridden 2f out, weakened final 1f.
