was no match for the winner but ran well in her own right, from a less-than-ideal position, too; raced off the pace, headway when not clear run over 2f out, forced wide home turn, kept on, no impression on winner; she ought to be competitive back in handicaps.

ran respectably, not seen to best effect, though left the impression that he's just going through the motions, probably not much better than this nowadays; dwelt, in rear, headway when forced very wide home turn, plugged on.

A useful minor event, though Watersmeet held an obvious chance at the weights and made no mistake, scoring readily; the pace was steady until 3f out.

WATERSMEET followed up from last time, making the most of a good opportunity; close up, travelled fluently, led over 2f out, quickened clear home turn, in command soon after, closed down late on but won readily.

ST MARY'S was no match for the winner but ran well in her own right, from a less-than-ideal position, too; raced off the pace, headway when not clear run over 2f out, forced wide home turn, kept on, no impression on winner; she ought to be competitive back in handicaps.

ZAFAYAN (IRE) without the headgear this time, might have needed the run on first outing since leaving D. K. Weld after 6 months off; dictated, headed over 2f out, weakened approaching final 1f.

SANDRO BOTTICELLI (IRE) probably needed the run on first outing since leaving John Ryan after 12 months off; in touch, ridden under 3f out, weakened entering straight.

AUSSIE REIGNS (IRE) might have needed the run after 3 months off; in touch, outpaced over 2f out, weakened entering straight.
