in first-time tongue strap, showed further improvement to open account on handicap debut but was seen to maximum effect; raced wide, made all, tackled from 2 out, dug deep under pressure, showed a good attitude but very much had the run of the race; may find life tougher next time.

ran well under a penalty after just 6 days off, backing up the improvement she'd shown to win last time, up against a lightly-raced rival who was well ridden from the front; in touch, driven after 3 out, challenged next, stuck to task without being able to pass the one that had the run of things (would have benefited from a stronger gallop herself); she remains with potential, her stamina yet be drawn out (will stay 3m).

took a step back in right direction and, although he can't be relied upon these days, that he raced along the unfavoured inside and also took a strong hold gives reason for a weak finish on this occasion; prominent, raced freely, every chance 3 out, weakened before last.

All 7 ran. Hurdles: 10.

Winning Owner: Mrs Felicity Griffin

Time: 5m 23.5s

Overrounds: Industry SP 113%, Betfair SP 99.6%

A rather muddling contest that was run at a steady pace, the winner dictating, whilst being kept wide typically seemed an advantage on this track.

BROWNVILLE in first-time tongue strap, showed further improvement to open account on handicap debut but was seen to maximum effect; raced wide, made all, tackled from 2 out, dug deep under pressure, showed a good attitude but very much had the run of the race; may find life tougher next time.

THEREGOESTHETRUTH (IRE) ran well under a penalty after just 6 days off, backing up the improvement she'd shown to win last time, up against a lightly-raced rival who was well ridden from the front; in touch, driven after 3 out, challenged next, stuck to task without being able to pass the one that had the run of things (would have benefited from a stronger gallop herself); she remains with potential, her stamina yet be drawn out (will stay 3m).

ORANGEADAY is handicapped to the hilt but returned to form in a less competitive race than he'd been in on return; raced wide, held up, headway under pressure after 3 out, mistakes last 2, one paced.

VALID REASON took a step back in right direction and, although he can't be relied upon these days, that he raced along the unfavoured inside and also took a strong hold gives reason for a weak finish on this occasion; prominent, raced freely, every chance 3 out, weakened before last.

REGULATION (IRE) settled better with the hood for first time over hurdles but failed to stay the 4f longer trip; in touch, headway 3 out, ridden when mistake next, weakened; will prove best around 2m and remains open to improvement.

CAFE AU LAIT (GER) merely underlined inconsistency after a win last time; chased leader, lost place 3 out, soon done with.

DAWN TWISTER (GER) might have needed run after 10 months off and raced on the unfavoured inside, tracking the pace until untidy 3 out, then weakening.
