has flown through the handicapping ranks and completed a 5-timer in great style, cementing the view that he's Group-race standard and, an uncomplicated ride, he's got plenty more to offer for top connections; soon led, travelled fluently, drew clear 2f out, kept on well, had plenty in hand; open to further improvement.

continues to thrive, taking the step back up in grade in his stride, easily accounting for the others despite meeting some trouble, simply bumping into one that is much better than a handicapper; held up, travelled well, headway when no room over 1f out, stayed on; will remain of interest.

The first 2 both came here in pursuit of 5-timers but the winner is progressing relentlessly and had things under control once quickening away 2f out, the runner-up himself doing well and keeping on once getting a clear run but he always had his work cut out with the thriving Matterhorn; the pace was good.
