proved better than ever as he made a winning return to action after 8 months off, showing a good attitude in the finish; soon led, took strong hold, headed approaching final 1f, rallied and led again inside last ½f, kept going well; should remain competitive.

without the headgear this time, ran up to best, her limit reached but her consistency is deserving of recognition, pitched into listed company the only time her standards have dipped; close up, travelled well, edged ahead approaching final 1f, headed inside last ½f, no extra; should continue to give a good account.

shaped encouragingly after 4 months off, this trip probably just short of his optimum; mid-field, travelled well, chased leaders under 2f out, kept on well final 1f, never nearer; will benefit from return to 1½m and is sure to go well again, still looking on a handy mark even after his 2 wins at the end of last year.

shaped well on first outing since leaving John M. Oxx after 7 months off; raced off the pace, rapid headway 2f out, chased leaders approaching final 1f, kept on, nearest at the finish; he's still pretty low mileage and is one to be interested in if persevered with on the Flat.

shaped as if back in form, a move in the straight suggesting as much, but he'd left himself plenty to do after one of his regular slovenly starts; very slowly away, in rear, good headway 2f out, effort flattened out.

in first-time blinkers, found run of good form coming to a halt, a rare below-par effort, but he's in credit after plenty of good work this winter; close up, weakened approaching final 1f; type to bounce back quickly.

gelded since last seen, produced a laboured effort on first outing since leaving John Gosden after 6 months off, this trip on the sharp side for him but the more pertinent point is that he seems to have gone the wrong way temperamentally; mid-field, went in snatches, lost place over 2f out, looked awkward, soon beaten; something to prove at present.
