caused a surprise, quite what she achieved hard to quantify with the odds-on favourite clearly below par, but she can certainly be deemed to have improved for the longer trip - even in a steadily-run affair - and could potentially have more to offer at this sort of distance; in touch, shuffled back approaching 3 out but still going well, chased leader between last 2, stayed on to lead run-in.

off the course since defeating male opposition at Sandown in April, had to concede weight all around but this still rates as a missed opportunity, not at her best in this contest for the second year in a row (albeit not underperforming as markedly this time); waited with, went with enthusiasm, upsides 3 out, led next, headed run-in; one of the leading lights in this division, this should prove no more than a blip, no reason why she shouldn't be as effective at 3m.

wasn't disgraced after 9 months off, though did have the run of the race and was readily brushed aside by the front pair; led, mistake 3 out, headed next, faded last, not knocked about thereafter.

progressive in landing a spring and summer hat-trick, faced a much stiffer task in this company and finished well held after 4 months off, in trouble as soon as the race began in earnest; in touch, took keen hold, not always fluent, lost place approaching 3 out, struggling approaching next.

soundly beaten on reappearance/chase debut earlier this month, shaped better than the distance beaten suggests back over timber, failing to see things out on her first attempt at this trip; held up, headway approaching 3 out, upsides briefly there, weakened approaching next.

A turn up in this mares listed event and not form to be rating too highly in the context of the grade as a result, the pace modest for the first circuit, the race only beginning to develop approaching 3 out.
