improved further to follow up from last time, doing well in the circumstances to chase down 2 that were ridden much more prominently in a modestly-run affair, value for more than winning margin suggests; waited with, travelled smoothly, found plenty to lead inside final 1f, well on top finish; may do better still and looks up to completing hat-trick.

ran creditably after 10 months off, having the run of things to some extent, but also showing enough to suggest he is up to winning off this mark before too long; led, took strong hold, ridden 2f out, headed inside final 1f, stuck to task; one to bear in mind.

took a marked step back in right direction in first-time cheekpieces after 8 weeks off, though was well positioned the way things developed; close up, ridden over 2f out, kept on; on a good mark if able to build on this.

A modestly-run affair, but there are reasons to be positive about the form, the progressive winner coming out on top from the lightly-raced runner-up and the well-treated third.

MAJEED improved further to follow up from last time, doing well in the circumstances to chase down 2 that were ridden much more prominently in a modestly-run affair, value for more than winning margin suggests; waited with, travelled smoothly, found plenty to lead inside final 1f, well on top finish; may do better still and looks up to completing hat-trick.

SMILING STRANGER (IRE) ran creditably after 10 months off, having the run of things to some extent, but also showing enough to suggest he is up to winning off this mark before too long; led, took strong hold, ridden 2f out, headed inside final 1f, stuck to task; one to bear in mind.

TROOPINGTHECOLOUR took a marked step back in right direction in first-time cheekpieces after 8 weeks off, though was well positioned the way things developed; close up, ridden over 2f out, kept on; on a good mark if able to build on this.

MASTERPAVER ran creditably in first-time cheekpieces after just 6 days off; chased leaders, driven over 2f out, one paced.

FIFTYSHADESFREED (IRE) returned to form without shaping like a winner in waiting; mid-field, headway end of back straight, ridden approaching 2f out, one paced.

PACK LEADER (IRE) ran creditably in terms of form after 5 months off, though looks no more than averagely treated at present; dwelt, waited with, ridden entering straight, never a threat; entitled to at least be sharper for the run.

DOUBLE DISCOUNT (IRE) ran better than last time; mid-field, effort over 2f out, not quicken, would have benefited from a stronger gallop.

QANAN wasn't disgraced after 5 weeks off, still working his way back to form; handy, outpaced 2f out, no extra final 1f.

THE GAY CAVALIER again ran below form after 10 weeks off; mid-field, effort 2f out, not quicken.
