well backed, wasted no time getting back on track, this his best effort for some time in fact, but he was seen to maximum effect with the run of the race and is one to take on next time, as his effort under a penalty the Curragh last time indicates; made all, travelled fluently, kicked on over 2f out, tackled approaching final 1f, kept going well; opposable next time.

An ordinary handicap run at a modest gallop, the winner making all and seen to good effect with little getting involved from rear, the fourth the only one to make up any real ground in the closing stages.

ZELOS DREAM (IRE) well backed, wasted no time getting back on track, this his best effort for some time in fact, but he was seen to maximum effect with the run of the race and is one to take on next time, as his effort under a penalty the Curragh last time indicates; made all, travelled fluently, kicked on over 2f out, tackled approaching final 1f, kept going well; opposable next time.

HOPPSAN (IRE) partnered by a good-value claimer and turned in another solid effort, in good heart at present, acknowledging she was better placed than most as this went; close up, travelled fluently, every chance over 1f out, kept on; will continue to give good account.

ATHASSEL again ran well back up in trip, not ideally placed and worth a bit of extra credit, though he's a maiden and not one one for much interest as a rule; mid-field, ridden over 2f out, stuck to task, never nearer.

GEM OF WIZDOM (IRE) back in headgear, fared better than of late though was better placed than most; tracked pace, ridden over 2f out, one paced.

MAAL (IRE) shaped as if back in form, left poorly placed as this went; waited with, still plenty to do over 2f out, ran on, never nearer; hasn't won for over 3 years but is on a fair mark and is one to bear in mind.

ELUSIVE GENT (IRE) wasn't disgraced, particularly considering that he was left poorly placed and didn't get a smooth run through; raced off the pace, not clear run over 2f out, ran on, never nearer.

LILY'S PRINCE (IRE) is operating below best at present; mid-field, went in snatches, always around same position.
