The three fillies that came into this with the best form, Jordan Princess, Secret Pursuit and Uchenna, were all very disappointing, taking plenty of the competitiveness away, but the pair that pulled clear are both lightly raced, progressive sorts from good stables and a positive view can be taken of their efforts; the hard-pulling Secret Pursuit soon had them well strung out and it was a good stamina test on quite testing ground.

MARSH DAISY has quickly come a long way, her debut less than 6 weeks ago, and overcame the rise in class here to follow up maiden win in the style of a most progressive filly; patiently ridden, smooth progress 3f out, led over 1f out, pushed out; will probably stay 1½m judging by this performance and the way she saw things out at Ascot, though not bred to relish it.

EASTERN BELLE remains a maiden but is progressing well and showed useful form to be placed up in grade here, the 3f longer trip suiting really well, shaping as if likely to stay further in fact; mid-division, headway under pressure over 2f out, stuck to task and pulled clear of the rest; it goes without saying that she'll be a banker if dropped into a maiden and there could be a race at this level to be won with her before the season's out.

PSYCHOMETRY (FR) was dropped back in trip but failed to improve for it, admittedly in a well-run race on soft ground, and perhaps more emphasis on speed over this far will see her fare better, again promising more with how she travelled but left behind soon after Moore got more serious with her over 1f out.

EMARATIYA ANA (IRE) failed to back up the improvement shown in a sales race last time, though has a possible excuse, conditions softer than she'd encountered previously; chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, not quicken and soon left behind by principals.

SECRET PURSUIT (IRE) is best not judged on this run, far too keen to be able to see things out; raced clear going too freely, headed over 1f out, weakened.

UCHENNA (IRE) disappointed on softer ground than she'd encountered previously; in rear, off the bridle before most, driven over 2f out, soon beaten.

JORDAN PRINCESS had shaped encouragingly behind Oaks favourite Taghrooda in a listed event at Newmarket earlier in the month, a strong favourite here as a result, but proved to be a disappointment, clearly not herself on the day for some reason; chased leader, every chance over 2f out, folded tamely soon after; a break may help and it's best to forgive her this in the grand scheme of things.
